Insurance Information

At Crompton Park Oral Surgery and Implant Associates, LLC we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. To accomplish this, we work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. If you have any problems or questions, please ask our staff. We are currently contracted providers with:

  • BlueCross BlueShield of Massachusetts (Medical and Dental)
  • Delta Dental of Massachusetts
  • Fallon Community Health Plan (Medical only)
  • Harvard Pilgrim Health Plan
  • Tufts Health Plan
  • CIGNA (Medical only)

We will accept and file claims to all other insurance plans and bill you for the patient balance.

Our electronic verification system will allow us to estimate your patient balance (including co-pays) at the time of service and you must pay this estimate at that time. Benefits you have already used will decrease the amounts available. If your estimated payment is insufficient, you will be billed the difference. If your estimated payment results in a credit balance, we will promptly remit a credit in the form the payment was made, i.e., check, credit card, debit card, HSA, etc.

Many dental prepayment (insurance) contracts will not pay for all services listed in their contract based on restrictions on number of services or the reason the services are rendered. One example is denial of extractions for orthodontic treatment if the plan does not have an orthodontic benefit, despite the fact that an extraction for non-restorable tooth decay would be covered.

We try to keep up-to-date on all of these insurance issues but, many times, do not find out about policy changes until a claim is rejected. Our office is no happier than you are when a legitimate claim is rejected. We will resubmit and appeal a claim before billing you for the rejected fees.
