W. David Kelly, DMD
Meet Dr. Kelly – Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. W. David Kelly is a graduate of Boston College with a BS degree in Biology. He then attended Tufts School of Dental Medicine and received his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree. While at Tufts, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Kelly completed his oral and maxillofacial training at Boston University Medical Center/Boston City Hospital (now Boston Medical Center) serving as Intern, Junior Resident, and Chief Resident.
Dr. Kelly and his wife and daughter moved to Worcester after he completed his residency. He has practiced in the same location for over 30 years. He has two grandsons, Michael and Mathew.
Over the past years, he has been involved in many professional and community service activities, including President and Treasurer of the Worcester District Dental Society, Secretary/Treasurer of the Medical Staff of St. Vincent Hospital, a member of the Medical Executive Committee of St. Vincent Hospital and a member of the Board of Directors of Pernet Family Health Center.
Dr. Kelly is currently Division Director of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at UMass Memorial Medical Center. He was formerly the Division Director of Oral Surgery at St. Vincent Hospital for 30 years. He is Director of Dental Services at the New England Hemophilia Center, UMMC.
